City Kid Theatre’s summer theatre camps are located in Glenview, Illinois and welcome families from across Chicago’s North Shore.
City Kid Theatre offers 1 week summer camps for children ages 3-12 starting the week of June 8th through August 21st, 2026. Each week, campers will rehearse and perform a different show, giving returning students a brand-new experience every session! Camps are available in the following sessions:
Students will learn the basics of acting, choreography, and collaborative story development as they work together to create a performance for friends and family. Participating in City Kid Theatre camps nurtures creativity and builds self confidence while learning to be a part of a team - "a castmate"; to cooperate, coordinate and produce a dynamic production together!

Beauty and the Beast: June 8th - June 12th ★Dates: 6/8-6/12
Times: 9:00am- 12:00 pm | 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm | 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Campers will dive into the enchanting world of Beauty and the Beast, exploring themes of kindness and courage through acting, movement, and song as they prepare for a magical final performance. |
