Whether your child is brand new to performing or already loves the spotlight, City Kid Theatre’s beginner acting classes for kids are a fun and supportive way to build confidence, creativity, and teamwork.
Our children’s theatre classes in Glenview introduce young performers to the basics of acting, stage presence, and storytelling in a positive, encouraging environment. Students meet once a week starting the week of March 30th, rehearsing together at City Kid Theatre while learning essential performance skills and working as an ensemble.
Throughout the season, students prepare for a fully staged theatre performance, giving them the exciting opportunity to apply what they’ve learned and experience the magic of performing on stage.
The season concludes with a ticketed final performance during the week of May 18th, where students showcase their hard work and talents on a larger stage in front of family and friends.
